Speakeasy — A Full House & A Beautiful Night

Last week’s Speakeasy was a full house.

Poetry. Handpans. Open mic. And a room that felt alive. I had the honor of sharing the stage with David Seter, Sonoma County’s 2024–26 Poet Laureate.

There’s something powerful about sharing new work in a space that’s listening, present, connected. I’m deeply grateful to everyone who showed up and made the night what it was.

During the evening, I premiered two new pieces:

‘So I Can Love You More’ played on a Pro Model Kurd 12. And ‘Orion’s Sky’ played on a Pro Model Orion 12

More personally — it felt really good to be performing again. I’m working on falling back in love with playing. There’s a sense that I have something to say again, and that feels…good.

If you couldn’t make it — or if you’d like to revisit the music — I’d love for you to take a few minutes and listen below.
