The Xenith8 Clarity

The Xenith8 Clarity was built upon the knowledge gained by having made hundreds of Xeniths. Leveraging the best aspects of stainless steel, the resulting instrument is full-bodied and bright, with breathy sustain. Subsequently, the Xenith8 Clarity can lead to both introspective grounding and energetic outpourings.

The Xenith Clarity was worth every penny! The sound of each note and the resonance is stunning! My daughter and I often just place them on the floor when we play together, and even then the resonance is amazing, but when I put my Clarity on a stand…. Holy crow! Thanks for spreading joy!!! - Susan

The F# Prodigal Clarity has amazing tone: bright, great sustain, and very responsive. Clarity is the perfect name to describe the liquid crystal sound this handpan make. And Colin is very down to earth and has top notch customer service skills. - Reno

Clarity FAQ’s

I already have a standard Xenith, do I need a Clarity too?

Nope, you don’t need one, and I hope you’re enjoying your Xenith! But, if you’re interested in pursuing more in the world of handpans, the addition of a Clarity will undoubtedly broaden your horizons. It’s a different experience which can help you grow and expand your practice.

I already have a standard Xenith but I want to pair a Clarity with it, what should I order?

This is a great question! For those that have a Xenith in D minor (D Insen, D Celtic, or any D minor variation) I would highly suggest F SaByeD. It is the relative Major to D Minor—its the jelly to D minor’s peanut butter, the sweet to its savory. While they are standouts as individuals, the sum is greater than the parts. They are great to play separately, together as one person, or to jam (pun intended) with a friend.

What Clarity scale would you want for yourself, Colin?

It would be a three way tie between Eb Celtic8, F SaByeD, and F# La Sirena. Celtic8 has always been my favorite scale and it is particularly great in Eb. I’m of the opinion that SaByeD is the best major scale out there and in F, is both uplifting and in a more performative (vs meditative) range. Similarly, F# La Sirena really cuts through the air and allows for expressive playing while being subtly mysterious.
