Super Bloom 2023

This month was the second US based Woman’s Handpan Gathering—Super Bloom . I donated a Xenith in support of the festival that was raffled off to one of the attendees!

The first ever all woman’s handpan gathering happened in September of 2018 in England. Similarly, I sent an instrument in support of the festival with one stipulation: I asked to have a letter ready aloud to those in attendance before raffling the instrument. I did the same this year. Below you can read a note from the winner as well as the letter I sent to the festival. TLDR: I donated an Xentih Clarity Eb Celtic8!

I WON A HANDPAN!
I WON A HANDPAN!
I WON A HANDPAN!

It was such a surreal moment. My name being called …!
Colin , from
@xenith.handpans I cannot thank you enough for this generous gift . You’re right …
this scale has poked me in the heart while grounding me. “It will root you in and let you float at the same time.”
Aside from adding a new baby to my pan fam last weekend was so inspiring to witness a craft 🛸 ( ha literally ) and a passion bring so many women together in a safe container to create, express and learn from one another.
Mostly I love seeing how community is formed around something. Anything ! The handpan , or whatever tool you may gravitate toward there is a community waiting for you to be a part of it.
